Sebasticook Valley

SV MapWelcome to the Sebasticook Valley. A charming tapestry of villages and towns, rolling hills and waterways welcomes visitors in every season.

The Sebasticook Valley is a place where every town has a story to tell and something special to offer. From local fairs and festivals to small farms and crafters, the Sebasticook Valley is perfect for sampling life at a distinctly Maine pace.

Freshwater fishing is particularly abundant in the Sebasticook Valley. Every community has at least one lake, pond or river. Throw out a lure and try your hand at landing a bass, trout or salmon. The Sebasticook Valley is rich in wildlife of many kinds. The area is well known as one of central Maine's most intriguing birding sites. You can see Canada Geese as well as all species of ducks on both spring and fall migration. The big game hunter will experience the largest population of whitetail deer in Maine. There are frequent bear and moose sightings as well.

Just because you're away from home, it doesn't mean you have to be away from the links. Sebasticook Valley is home to four golf courses, including a challenging 18-hole course.

With its close proximity to so many Maine attractions, the Sebasticook Valley area is a perfect base for family vacations.
